Unleash the Jinn!

It's been awhile since I've done a self-portrait. I had to settle down a bit, this year has been a little hectic for me. Getting out of the navy, a 2 month trip around Europe, and currently searching for a job hasn't left me much time to pick up the camera like I wish I could.

But I finally was able to get in front and behind the camera today! My brother brought me a beautiful oil lamp from Iraq while he was deployed there.

A Jinn was living in it! Though he wasn't a wishing Jinn I sadly found out. He was a nice Jinn, we had a lovely chat. The stories in 1001 Arabian nights must have exaggerated a bit when explaining Jinns ;)

Anyways, out of my imagination and back into reality I go. Here is the original. I never do too much editing on my pictures. To me that takes away from the actual point of taking a good photo.
